Playground Replacement Program

Recognizing the importance of updating playground equipment throughout the community, the McPherson Parks Department has launched the "Get Your PLAY On!" campaign. Efforts include raising funds to replace outdated play systems at five area parks. Inspiration for the plan was triggered by the Hess Park project completed in 2016, a project which involved City of McPherson employees working collaboratively with community members and businesses. Their efforts included raising adequate funds and constructing the park TOGETHER.

All are encouraged to learn more about the Playground Replacement Program and watch for updates. Working TOGETHER we can promote community involvement and produce tangible outcomes that will benefit McPherson residents and visitors alike. For more information or to make a donation, contact Director of Public Lands & Facilities Wayne Burns.
