An application has been filed by McPherson College (Marty Sigwing), of 320 North Lehmer Street, City of McPherson, pursuant to Section 10-107 of the City’s Zoning Regulations, requesting a variance to reduce the minimum front yard setback at the southeast corner of the property adjacent to Eby Street from 25 feet to 0 feet for the purpose of building a student union building on property zoned R-3, Multiple-Family Residential District and legally described as:
A part of Block 2, Lot 1 of Replat 2007, McPherson College Subdivision, McPherson County, Kansas (Formally known as Lots 1-24, Block 26 and Lots 1-13 Block 25, College Place Addition)
General location: At the Southeast Corner of Gordon and Eshelman Streets, Bounded on the south by Kansas Avenue, City of McPherson
This application has been assigned Case No. V-22-15. It will be considered by the Board of Zoning Appeals at its meeting on November 17th, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the Commission Room at the Municipal Center, 400 East Kansas Avenue, McPherson, Kansas.
You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case,
the Board of Zoning Appeals may close the hearing and render a decision. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
