Globe Refiners Statue Unveiling Ceremony
McPherson – Monday, October 5th at 5:00 PM in front of the McPherson Community Building, 122 E. Marlin, the City of McPherson alongside the Mingenback Foundation, Sutton Betti, and Hutton Construction will unveil the 11-foot-wide and 8-foot-tall bronze curved relief sculpture of the first-ever Olympic gold medal champions. Traveling from Loveland, Colorado, the sculpture will make its permanent home outside the Globe Refiners home court at the Community Building. The City very much appreciates the Mingenback Foundation who was actively involved in sculptor selection, design, and financial contribution on the project. We also would like to thank CHS for their work installing the statue.
