NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 2, 2025, the McPherson City Planning Commission will consider the following zoning application at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Room of the Municipal Center, 400 East Kansas Avenue, McPherson, Kansas.
CASE NO. SU-25-04. A proposed Special Use requested by Stacia Gerbers, a representative of Les Schwab Warehouse Center LLC of 20900 Cooley Road, Bend, Oregon, 97701, and Dan McGhee, a representative of Lamp Rynearson, Inc. of 9001 State Line Road, Ste 200, Kansas City, Missouri, 64114, for the purpose of establishing an automobile parts, accessories, and service retail store on property Zoned as the B-6, Interchange Business District.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The West 243.00 feet of Lot 2, Wallace First Addition, a replat of part of Lot 3, Block 2, Champlin Addition, a subdivision in the City of McPherson, McPherson County, Kansas, containing 1.57 acres and subject to any easements and restrictions of record.
GENERAL LOCATION: Generally located in the lot south of Candlewood Inn and Suites, 2229 E Kansas Ave, McPherson, Kansas.
You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Planning Commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the City Commission which, if approved, would permit the above noted Special Use. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
