McPHERSON — Work being done by the railroad company on the crossing on Avenue A in McPherson will require that area of the road to be closed. The closure is scheduled to take effect Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025, until work is complete.
The crossing is just to the south of Wall Park on Avenue A. Work could last through the rest of the week.
Suggested east-west alternate routes are Kansas Avenue to the north and Iron Horse road to the south, accessible via Main Street and Maxwell Street.
