AN ORDINANCE RENAMING “VERANDA COURT” AS PLATTED IN THE VERANDA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS, TO BE KNOWN AS “VERANDA LAKE DRIVE”
WHEREAS, there is shown on the plat of The Veranda Addition to the City of McPherson, Kansas, a street named “Veranda Court,” and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of McPherson has determined that such street should hereafter be named “Veranda Lake Drive,”
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS:
Section 1. That “Veranda Court” platted as a part of The Veranda Addition to the City of McPherson is hereby named and designated “Veranda Lake Drive.”
Section 2. After this ordinance becomes effective, the City Clerk/Administrator shall file an affidavit of publication of this ordinance with the McPherson County Register of Deeds, and shall mail a copy of the affidavit of publication to the McPherson County Appraiser’s Office.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage by a majority of the governing body, signature by the mayor and publication once in the official City Publication of Record.
