McPHERSON — Beginning Tuesday, July 11, 2023, a mill and overlay project will begin on South Main Street in McPherson. Pearson Construction, Wichita, will be working on Main from Kansas Avenue to the railroad tracks on the south edge of town.
The first portion of the project, weather permitting, should last between seven to 10 days. Then, marking the pavement will last another four to five days.
Traffic will be carried through the construction, but could be slowed in some areas. The City of McPherson thanks citizens for their patience as this necessary maintenance is completed.
