RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS CERTIFYING THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO APPLY FOR THE 2022 KANSAS MODERATE INCOME HOUSING PROGRAM FROM KANSAS HOUSING RESOURCE CORPORATION
WHEREAS, The City of McPherson, Kansas, is a legal governmental entity as provided by the laws of the STATE OF KANSAS, and
WHEREAS, The City of McPherson, Kansas intends to submit an application for assistance from the 2022 KANSAS MODERATE INCOME HOUSING PROGRAM.
THE APPLICANT hereby certifies that the City of McPherson, Kansas, is a legal governmental entity under the status of the laws of the STATE OF KANSAS and thereby has the authority to apply for assistance from the 2022 KANSAS MODERATE INCOME HOUSING PROGRAM.
The City of McPherson, Kansas, hereby dedicates $93,000.00 in match funds towards this project including $50,000 in American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) Funding if completed by December 31, 2026, and an anticipated $43,000 in New Construction Homebuyer Incentive Program (NCHIP) Funds. This match consists of the City’s provision of additional down payment assistance for the homebuyers.
