CDBG-CV Grants
McPherson – The City of McPherson received $132,000 through the Small Cities Community Block Development Fund to distribute business and organizations that have been impacted by COVID-19 as part of their recovery efforts.
- The grants are for businesses that have between 1-50 employees of which 51% total make below 80% of the Median Income of McPherson County.
- Potential Award Amounts can be to $15,000 based on the number of employees and the number of eligible expenses.
- Businesses may have received other CARES Act funds (Ie PPP, EIDL) from the Federal Government and still be eligible for CDBG-CV funds. However, expenses reimbursed through those CARES Act funds cannot be reimbursed again through CDBG-CV.
- Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and funds will be available until all funds are gone. Applications filled out electronically will be time-stamped upon the final submittal. Applications turned in at the City Facility will be time and date stamped upon receiving.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Applications are available on the City Website and in person at the McPherson Municipal Building. They can be completed electronically or can be picked up in person at the Municipal Center located at 400 E. Kansas, McPherson, KS 67460.
