NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 7, 2020, the Planning Commission of the City of McPherson, Kansas will consider the following application at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Room at the Municipal Center, 400 East Kansas Avenue, McPherson, Kansas.

KV Enterprises (Nick Vontz) of 800 West 1st Street, McPherson, KS. 67460, pursuant to Section 10-103-A of the City’s Subdivision Regulations, requests vacation of:
The Alley lying East of the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad Right-of-Way in Block 1, Woodrow and Walton’s Subdivision, City of McPherson, McPherson County Kansas
AND
The Alley lying West of the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad Right-of-Way in Block 1, Woodrow and Walton’s Subdivision, City of McPherson, McPherson County Kansas
AND

General Location: Vicinity of the proposed vacations is generally contained in an area bordered on the North by 1st Street, the East by Cedar Street, the South by Woodside Street, and the West by the western property lines of Benchmark Plastics (1101 West 1st Street) and McPherson Metals (1068 Woodside Street).
You may appear at this time either in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Commission may close the hearing and prepare a recommendation to the City Commission which, if approved under the City Subdivision Regulations, would be effectuated by an order which would then be filed with the McPherson County Register of Deeds. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
