McPHERSON — The McPherson Water Park is committed to providing an enjoyable and safe experience for all visitors. Recently, the pump system that powers the lazy river, splash pad and slide experienced an unexpected failure. While this presents a temporary challenge, we want to assure our community that swift action is being taken to resolve the issue.
We have partnered with Sargent Drilling, a trusted vendor with extensive experience supporting the City’s water systems, to expedite the replacement process. Our top priority is ensuring that families and visitors can continue to enjoy these popular attractions as soon as possible.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work diligently to restore full operations prior to opening. Updates will be shared as progress is made.
We are still awaiting both water and air temperatures to reach minimum requirements for opening of the pool area. Keep checking the McPherson Water Park social media for updates. Announcements are made by noon each day when there is question on temperatures or other weather-related issues.
