On April 10, City Commissioners approved a contract with Cornejo Construction for McPherson’s 2017 KLINK Project for a cost not to exceed $236,950.60. The project will result in a mill and overlay along Kansas Avenue between Maxwell Avenue and Eby Street. Construction work will include island repair and sidewalk construction. KLINK is a federal and state-funded program that provides funds to cities to address deficiencies or improve a City Connecting Link on the State Highway System. The project will begin after construction along Highway 56 is completed. For more information, contact the Public Works Department at 620.245.2545.
