Baer Street will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 15, to allow for street repairs. The City Street Department is working collaboratively with the McPherson County Public Works Department to complete street improvements, which include road reconstruction and asphalt overlay. “We are grateful to the County for their assistance as it minimizes overall costs and will result in a much improved, durable roadway,” said Jeff Woodward, Director of Public Works for the City of McPherson.

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and seek alternate routes during the construction period. Baer Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately 30 days. During this time, all residents will have access to their properties. Project completion is contingent on weather.
